Learn the secrets of this ancient art as our friendly and knowledgeable instructors guide you on your path of Hot Glass Discovery. You’ve seen our artisans at work; marveled at the flowing molten glass; witnessed the transformation of a formless glowing glob into beautiful glass art - now it’s your turn!

A Magical Experience

We’ve built a new Hot Shop (glassblowing studio) in the back of Aquarium Village, in a unit overlooking Yaquina Bay.

The privacy of this new Hot Shop is ideal for those of us

who may be shy when doing something for the first time!

You will receive quality instruction from experienced glassblowers giving you step by step personal training.

By the end of the class, you will have a beautiful piece of glass art to take home - and the best part is, you created it. If glassblowing turns out to be your next career, you'll find a wealth of information available to you that we're happy to share.

Your glassblowing experience is bound to be the time of your life - whether it’s the fulfillment of a dream, or a spur of the moment adventure!

We offer two classes:

Beginning Glassblowing

In this class you will learn the basic skills you need to blow glass, and create a variety of paperweights to treasure forever. Tuition: $100.00

Float Class (prerequisite: Beginning Glassblowing)

Learn to make a glass float! This class will further your skills by introducing the challenges of working with the absence of glass, the bubble inside. Tuition: $150.00

Take a class individually, or share the experience with friends and family. The duration of the class depends on the number of students:
